News after 2 yrs!:)

Hello Everyone

I have seriously no idea what pushed me to check the site on the very same day, 2 years on. Well the last time I posted something was when I was weighing 216 pounds and I was a student in Malaysia. Now, I am very proud to say that I am 144 pounds. However, for me to be back, hmmm means something is serious!lol! I had actually dropped to 135.6 pounds but I ended up eating like a pig and I gained 8.4 pounds back. I have lost the motivation and I am unable to get back on track.

My brother is getting married soon and I really need to lose at least 20 pounds.

So here I am looking for your support and motivation to help me achieve my goal!:)

Helpppp!

Hi guys! I actually stopped my previous diet for a while but stated again on Saturday 1st March!I am usually a sedentary person, but since Monday, school has resumed and i started walking to class, swimming(8 laps), walking (1 hour). I mean i was swimming on one day and walking the other day. I am also controlling my diet, no white rice or bread, i am eating wholemeal stuffs instead and still i took 500 grams today(Thursday)!

I was previously dieting only (no exercise at all) and was managing to lose a minimum of 2 kgs per week! How is that possible! I am totally disappointed! I am an emotional eater, thus am scared of all giving up suddenly!

Its beyond my comprehension! Can someone help me understand what is happening and what i should do in the future???

Is Rice ok?

Hmm am not very happy of what i ate yesterday!I guess i am doing it all wrong!I have cut all my carbs for 3 days which resulted in 4.4lbs lost, but after that yesterday i was feeling really sick and was craving for something sweet and some rice! Actually i ate more than i had to!

Well today i just had milk in the morning and for lunch i had chicken and veggies! However, i was deadly starving for dinner, thus i had some rice. The good thing is that i ate only half of it!

My question is, is it ok to eat some rice for lunch and eat brown bread for dinner? Will i still lose weight? Btw i lead a very sedentary life, and i since i cut down on my carbs, i felt weak and lazy, thus didn’t exercise at all!!!

Please helppppp!!!Suggest a diet!!

I have heard about weight watchers and South Beach Diet, however, none of these is available in Malaysia! So what to do???

4.4 lbs in 4 Days!

Wooaw am so happy!!!!I have started my diet on the Monday and today i have lost 4.4lbs!!!I have a lot more to lose but this weight lost is a real encouragement for me!!!

Since i join the site yesterday, i feel even more motivated to lose weight as i have the chance to write about it and i get feel good. Its actually like a backbone for me.

I am actually a student, currently studying in Malaysia, alone and far from my family who is in Mauritius. I have put on 18 kgs in 2 years in Malaysia since when i feel lonely and depressed, i eat!

Today thanks to Buddyslim, i feel lively and motivated again! Thanks a lot!

My Motivation!

I have had many ups and downs in my diet plans previously! However, since i started watching the Biggest Loser Australia, i felt self-motivated! It is about over-weight people who join a reality Tv show, with the aim of losing weight! They show you their day-to-day activities, their weigh-in and so on! Moreover, these people’s weight are tracked for a period of about 15 weeks. However, during their stay at the white house(this is where everything happen), they are taught about healthy living styles and so on!

After watching this show i have started thinking differently! I now feel that i am not on a diet, i tell myself that i am eating healthily and this is what is making me change my eating habits for a better living and i hope it last forever!

P.S: you can watch the previous and the present episodes at http://realitytvfan.org/

First day!

Well since am not a breakfast fan, i compromised and had a glass of cold low fat milk. Then for lunch, i decided to have a few pieces of chicken and a bowl of Maggi soup. And a few minutes ago, i went to the chicken rice shop and had dinner and to my surprised, i didn’t even feel the need to have the rice, i just had the chicken, which was roasted, the soup and loads of veggies.

You would have realised that i eat loads of chicken, this is because am not a beef or pork eater and chicken is widely available in Malaysia so i chose that option!:))
